2024 – 2025 Impact
In 2024-2025, the Shuswap Community Foundation (SCF) made a significant impact by distributing over $842,672 in grants to local charities, having processed $1.75 Million in donations. With an impressive 13.5% average rate of fund holder return, a 5% distribution rate represented grants to 188 organizations. Key focus areas included food security, healthcare, animals, education, community, the environment and arts and recreation.

Our Community
Shuswap Community Foundation serves the “Shuswap area” of the Columbia Shuswap Regional District, extending from Malakwa and Sicamous in the east; to the South Shuswap and the North Shuswap in the west, and as far south as Ranchero, Salmon River Valley, and Falkland.
Shuswap Community Foundation works within Secwepemcuľecw, the unceded and ancestral home of the Secwepémc people. The Secwepémc culture has been deeply rooted to this land for over 10,000 years and serve as our guide to approaching each moment with respect and reverence.
