The SASCU Community Endowment Fund (SCEF) was created to support environmental projects in the area and to ensure a bright and sustainable future for our community.
At SASCU, we value community. That’s why in spring of 2009, the SASCU Board of Directors created SCEF – a fund which grows in perpetuity with the earned income invested back into the community each year.
Grants are provided to projects which benefit or enhance the environment OR which promote environmental awareness by providing access to outdoor recreation or environmental education opportunities.
In previous years, funds were awarded to the Family Resource and Referral Society for the irrigation of their community garden and to the Shuswap Trail Alliance for their Trail Mix event which promoted environmental awareness.
If you’re passionate about the environment and want to donate to help local environmental projects, the Shuswap Community Foundation accepts donations on behalf of the SASCU Community Endowment Fund.

Donate to this fund
Donations to this fund can be made by e-transfer (preferred), by cheque, donated securities, in person at any SASCU branch, through a gift of securities, or online through CanadaHelps.
