Arts, Culture & Heritage
The Arts Council of the South Shuswap (ACSS) was formed in 2015 by a group of six committed individuals dedicated to the arts. Two of the area’s arts-based organizations were merged and renamed the Arts Council for the South Shuswap.
Over the years, the council’s initiatives have grown to offer and include a number of arts-based experiential and learning-based programs:
- FACES Performing Arts Programs in Dance, Music & Art
- Music by the Bay Summer Music Series
- South Shuswap Children’s Theatre Troupe
- Small Hall Music Crawl Winter Music Series
- Art on the Green Summer Art Show/Sale
- Shuswap Artisans Market
- Dothe Shu Community Events Calendar
VISION: The Arts Council for the South Shuswap is committed to creating a vibrant and welcoming community where people are inspired by a rich palette of arts and cultural experiences.
MISSION: To engage South Shuswap residents and visitors in creative collaborations that enrich and transform lives through arts and culture creation, celebration and participation.

Donations to this fund can be made by e-transfer (preferred), by cheque, donated securities, in person at any SASCU branch, through a gift of securities, or online through CanadaHelps.
