This scholarship was established in memory of Bill, a respected electrician, entrepreneur, and community-minded leader whose life was marked by hard work, dedication, and service.
After graduating from SAIT as an electrician, Bill worked throughout Alberta and British Columbia before making Enderby his home in 1966. Shortly after arriving, he and his business partner, Ken Holmes, purchased a local electrical company that would later become Mountain View Electric. Together, they built and operated the business successfully for more than three decades.
Bill and his family became an integral part of the Enderby community. In addition to his professional accomplishments, he was committed to supporting local organizations and initiatives, including serving as a trustee for School District 89. His contributions helped strengthen the community he cared about so deeply.
This scholarship honours Bill’s legacy by supporting future generations as they pursue their own educational and career goals.
